#d9c77b is a muted, desaturated yellow with warm, golden undertones. It lacks the intensity of primary yellow, making it a subtle choice for soft backgrounds or spring-themed branding. Because it sits on the lighter side, it pairs best with dark charcoal text for high contrast. Avoid using it as a solid fill for large areas, as it can occasionally read as washed out.
