Hornet Sting

Because Hornet Sting is such an intensely saturated red, it works best when limited to a 10 percent accent, such as for buttons or highlights. Dominant use as a background color often overwhelms the eyes, but black text maintains excellent readability against it.

This vibrant red pairs effectively with neutral tones like charcoal or deep greys to ground its energy. For higher contrast designs, pairing it with clean off-white backgrounds allows the hue to pop without clashing or causing visual fatigue for the viewer.
