#ECECED Hex Color
One step off pure white
Close to fresh printer paper with a hint of blue, #ececed is a pale grey that sits one step off white. Its near-total lack of saturation makes it a dependable dominant base for minimal interfaces, and black text on it hits 17.8:1 contrast, well past WCAG AA. Just note it can look washed out next to pure white.
