Bright as fresh-cut spring grass, #5ae365 is a light, vivid green with a glowing, almost neon edge. Black text on it reaches 12.6:1 contrast, well above WCAG AA, so it holds up behind small type. It works best as an accent or button color on dark interfaces; at full-bleed sizes it can overwhelm the eye. To calm it down, try mixing gray into it for a softer shade.
