#575757 Hex Color
Grey that stays out of the way
Dark grey like #575757 is what designers reach for when a layout needs weight without distraction: sidebars, footers, secondary text. The hex code is fully neutral, with no warm or cool pull, so it sits behind almost anything. White text on it reaches about 7.2:1 contrast, well past AA. At large sizes it can read flat, so give it a sharper accent to work against.
